Rule Synopsis
These are the rule/s that control which ServiceNow master data table is used by CI Sync for inserting, updating or deleting Model records.
Rule Details and Default

By default, CI Sync uses the cmdb_hardware_product_model master data table (for any Model master data insert, update or delete operations).
Override Options
Context
Customers may consider overriding the default rule so that CI Sync uses the cmdb_model table. This may be required to meet the specific needs of a given ServiceNow environment (i.e. if the alternative table is being used).

This Data Sync Rule can be overridden so that CI Sync uses the cmdb_model table instead (for the same operations noted above).
Overriding via Connection Settings
Customers can perform the override using a “Connection Setting” via the CI Sync User Interface (i.e. customers can perform the overrides themselves). Additional information for this is available via the following documentation:
