Rule Synopsis
These are the rule/s that control how CI Sync either passes through or transforms the format of the Mac OS and OS Version attribute/value for Windows CIs created from InTune.
Rule Details
By default

CI Sync passes through the Mac OS Format in its raw format, i.e. it reads the operating system value from the operatingSystem.caption or osMetadata.fullName.

CI Sync passes through the Mac OS Version in its native format (e.g. 15.7.7).
Override Options
Context

Customers may consider overriding the default rule to transform the Mac OS Format into another format such as OS & Version (e.g. transform macOS to macOS Sequoia).

Customers may consider overriding the default rule to transform the Mac OS Version into another format such as a Friendly format (e.g. transform 15.7.7 to Sequoia).
Options

The rule can be amended to transform the Mac OS Format into OS & Version or OS & YYH1/2 format.

The rule can be amended to transform the Mac OS Version into YYH1/2 format.
Overriding via Connection Settings
Customers can perform the override using a “Connection Setting” via the CI Sync User Interface (i.e. customers can perform the overrides themselves). Additional information for this is available via the following documentation:
