Rule Synopsis
These are the rule/s that control whether CI Sync inserts a new CI for Lansweeper assets that are in an Non-Active state.
Rule Details and Default
-
By default, CI Sync does not suppress inserting of new CIs for any assets in an Non-Active state in Lansweeper. Or stated another way, CI Sync does indeed insert (create) new CIs for assets in Lansweeper that are in an Non-Active state.
Override Options
Context
Customers may consider overriding the default rule if they want CI Sync to not insert new CIs for assets that are Non-Active in Lansweeper. This may be useful if customers have no need for Non-Active Lansweeper assets to exist in their CMDB.
Options
-
The rule can be amended so that CI Sync does suppress the insertion of (i.e. creation of) CIs in their CMDB for assets that are Non-Active in Lansweeper.
Overriding via Connection Settings
Customers can perform the override using a “Connection Setting” via the CI Sync User Interface (i.e. customers can perform the overrides themselves). Additional information for this is available via the following documentation:

For a general overview of CI Sync Connection Settings please read Understanding the use of CI Sync Connection Settings.
