Rule 13 - Windows Operating System (OS) Version Handling for SentinelOne

Rule Synopsis

These are the rule/s that control whether CI Sync either passes through or transforms the Windows OS Version when persisting this values against CIs created from SentinelOne assets.

Rule Details

By default, CI Sync passes through the Windows OS Version in it’s native format (e.g. 10.0.26200.7623).

Override Options

Context

Customers may consider overriding the default rule to transform the Windows OS Version into another format such as YYH1/2 format (e.g. transform 10.0.26200.7623 to 25H2).

Options

The rule can be amended to transform the Windows OS Version into YYH1/2 format.

Overriding via Connection Settings

Customers can perform the override using a “Connection Setting” via the CI Sync User Interface (i.e. customers can perform the overrides themselves). Additional information for this is available via the following documentation:
